Fundraising

Each year the PTA spends more than $850/student to pay for programs that state and federal funds do not cover. This vital funding, entirely fueled by our community, sustains numerous programs that distinguish MES as an exceptional school.

At the start of each year, we request families consider a donation to support their children’s educational expenses. We understand that covering the full $850 may not be feasible for everyone, so we encourage contributions of any amount that align with your means. For those who are able, we invite you to consider giving more than $850 to assist students whose families may not be able to contribute as much. Your generosity plays a crucial role in ensuring every student receives the support they need.

WHY DONATE?

Your 100% tax-deductible contribution ensures that every student has the tools they need to thrive. Below are examples of programs and staff that were made possible solely through donations to the PTA:

  • Art and music programs

  • Library 

  • Gardening

  • Physical Education 

  • Music instruction

  • Academic support (Music instruction, field trips, classroom supplies)

  • Playground improvements and supervision

  • Community events (Otter Walk, Family Fun Day, variety show)

Our funding priorities are designed in collaboration with Principal Kloker and the School Site Council to enhance the learning environment for all students.
