Montclair Dads Club
The Montclair Dads Club is a group for fathers and father-figures of the students of Montclair Elementary School.
Why does the PTA need a Dads Club?
Fathers and father-figures are significantly underrepresented in PTA’s and in the school setting. We specifically invite you to come have a space to gather and build a community on this adventure in fatherhood. Building a strong Dads Club brings in more volunteers for the school, provides an additional outlet for community building, and provides a male role model of service and community for our kids that can last a lifetime.
What does the Dads Club do?
We provide anywhere from individuals to a small army of doers in support of school events, work days, and a few Dads Club lead programs. We also foster a sense of community and camaraderie and build lifelong friendships through monthly meet-ups and self-organized social events.
The Dads Club has a wide variety of skills and abilities, and will accept as much or as little help as you can offer. Membership is casual and free, but the experience is priceless.
